Lana Del Rey Young & Beautiful makeup tutorial

Hello lovelies! I have another celeb tutorial for you today, this time we're attempting Lana Del Rey's makeup from her Young & Beautiful music video.

The song is featured on The Great Gatsby soundtrack and I think there are elements of the Gatsby theme in the makeup, I'm yet to see the film but the makeup looks stunning in the trailer/photos!

Also, I hope I'm not doing too many tutorials, I know some people like it when blogs mix it up but I feel like my blog had enough reviews and it was time to post was I set my blog up for :)

1. Start by applying a matte finish foundation & concealer, fill your brows in and round off the arch.

2. Apply MAC's Texture all over the lid and along the lower lash line.

3. Apply Urban Decay's Sin on the lid and Lost on the lower lash line. Highlight the brow bone with Urban Decay's Nymph.

4. Line the top lash line with liquid liner but don't wing out, think almond shaped eyes! Apply Illamasqua's medium pencil in Hex to the waterline.

5. Add false lashes and mascara to the bottom lashes.

6. Contour the cheekbones heavily using Illamasqua's cream pigment in Hollow, add Benefit's Dallas over the top to give warmth.

7. Line lips using MACs Cherry & make the cupids bow into a point.

8. Fill in the lips with a dark red lipstick such as Illamasqua's Box.

9. For the diamante tear drops I used stargazer silver glitter to add the final touches to this look :)

Kelly Osbourne makeup tutorial

Hi lovelies! Keeping to my word I'm bringing you another celebrity makeup tutorial.

I've been thinking and racking my little brains over which celebs always have creative makeup which my followers like & is practical to wear. I remembered Kelly Osbourne! She also has uber cool hair that I wish I could pull off, but for now her makeup will have to do!

I've had a few requests, a lot of them for Lauren Conrad actually, LC is the queen of liquid liner so that should be fun to recreate! But once again if you have requests for looks please drop me a comment below :) Hope you enjoy this look!

1. Start by applying a matte finish foundation and concealer, apply a powder over the top to minimise shine as this look is completely matte. Fill in your brows in a gradient style, making sure the front is lighter than the rest of the brow whilst still looking natural, you can do this by brushing through this area a few times.

2. Apply MAC Brûlée, a matte cream shade, across the lid & brow bone. Apply MAC Texture, a warm brown, to the crease & blend upward lightly.

3. Apply a thick line of liquid liner & wing out, bring the liner down to the lower lash line also.

4. Line your lower waterline with black pencil, focusing on the outer corner and add a pair of false lashes. Also add a generous coat of mascara to the bottom lashes.

5. The lips are a subtle two tone, I used Illamasqua Depravity with MAC Impassioned in the centre.

6. Apply a fresh pink blush lightly to the cheekbones, I used Illamasqua Promise - voila! We're done!

Iggy Azalea 'Work' makeup tutorial

My next celebrity inspired tutorial is hip hop it girl of the moment Iggy Azalea. Love or loathe her music, her makeup is always flawless and she is an utter babe! This look is from her Work video, she has a number of looks/outfit changes but this one stuck out to me because it combined three of my favourite things; a bold lip, glossy skin and tuxedo liner!

1.Start by applying a satin finish foundation, along with your chosen concealer. Fill in the brows lightly and apply MAC's Brûlée all over the lid.

2. Apply a jet black liquid liner, wing out the shape slightly.

3.Using Illamasqua's Scribe line above the black liner to achieve a tuxedo effect.

4. Apply medium pencil in hex from Illamasqua to brighten the eyes & add one coat of mascara.

5. Line & fill lips with Nightmoth lip pencil from MAC.

6. Apply Illamasqua Succubus over night moth for a deep red glossy effect.

7. Use a warm bronze to lightly contour the cheekbones, I used Benefit's Dallas.

8. Highlight the skin using Furore pure pigment by Illamasqua for that ultra glossy finish.

9. Add Iggy's beauty spot under the right eye using a brow pencil, etc & voila!

Hayley Williams Still Into You makeup tutorial

A new feature for my blog are tutorials inspired by celebrities! I'm aiming to post a few a week and requests are welcome of course :)

I've decided to start with a look inspired by Hayley Williams from Paramore's infectious 'Still Into You' music video - the video itself is so dreamy! Granted this isn't your most wearable, just off to the shops makeup look and it actually isn't my favourite of Hayley's but it's quite fun and easy to recreate in just a few steps.

I'm planning on posting Mila Kunis, Cara Delevingne, Edie Sedgwick, Megan Fox and a few other tutorials soon as well. You can keep up to date with them on my instagram - hayleyfellmua.

1. Start by applying a semi matte foundation & your chosen concealer. Fill your brows in to look quite strong but not arched too much & then apply Illamasqua Hollow over the lid as an eyeshadow base.

2. Apply Benefit's Blingo over the lid & wing out slightly, pack more product onto the inner corner and add a little underneath the eye also.

3. Apply Illamasqua's Angst from the outer third of the lid up to the end of the brow in a winged shape.

4. Add Illamasqua Hex to the water line for doll like eyes, line your eyes with liquid liner into a dramatic cat flick and be generous with your mascara!

5. Apply a barbie pink blush, I'm using Promise by Illamasqua, but only to the tops of the cheek bones, not to the apples of the cheeks!

6. Use a baby pink/mauve lipstick, preferably with a matte finish. I used MAC's Snob.

7. Highlight the cheekbones heavily, also highlight your brow bone
and down the centre of the nose for a dewy complexion.

Day & night smokes using Illamasqua's S.O.P.H.I.E

I recently ordered a few bits from Illasmasqua, one of them was their medium pencil in S.O.P.H.I.E, a jet black pencil for the eyes, lips & face. The name & inspiration behind this pencil comes from  Sophie Lancaster, the victim of a hate crime which tragically took her life, all because she enjoyed looking different. £3 from each S.O.P.H.I.E pencil purchased is donated to the Sophie Lancaster foundation, a charity set up in Sophie's honour to raise awareness of hate crimes and prejudice towards alternative subcultures. You can read more about Sophie and the Sophie Lancaster foundation here - it's a great cause and I think it's important that we recognise subcultures are also targeted by bullies and hate. I decided to put together two tutorials today, a simple, everyday smokey eye and a more dramatic evening smokey eye. I took inspiration for the night time look from the Illamasqua Sophie I - Technique.

day time smokes

1. Start by applying Illamasqua's Cream Pigment in Hollow all over the lid as a base. This will minimise redness and even out the skin tone.

2. Using Medium Pencil in S.O.P.H.I.E line your upper & lower lash line. You can line your water line too if you want to add a little more depth and drama.

3. Using Crown Brush C431 blend the pencil lightly in an upwards motion. Blend under the eye also, leaving no harsh lines.

4. Add a coat or two of mascara and use a highlighter or pale eyeshadow of your choice to highlight your brow bone and tear duct - all done!

night time smokes

1. Apply cream pigment in Hollow again as a base and add a cream colour (such as MAC Brûlée) to the centre of your lid & brow bone.

2. Using Medium Pencil in S.O.P.H.I.E sketch along your socket line (crease).

3. Using Crown Brush C431 blend the pencil lightly back and forth until there are no harsh lines.

4. Add a matte black shadow to the crease, blend upwards and outwards. Line your lower lash & waterline with Sophie and use C431 to blend for that smokey effect.

5. Add liquid liner in Mislead and a pair of dramatic false lashes to finish the look!
